Massive Open Online Course on European Solidarity Corps


2 October - 12 November 2023 | online, Ireland

A free and open online course for people interested in the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Programme. During the 6-week course, you will discover how you can use all opportunities that the programme has to offer.

Are you looking for ways to engage youth in your community? The European Solidarity Corps program offers many opportunities for youth to get involved in meaningful projects that make a difference. This online course will help you discover all the opportunities the program offers, so you can start making a difference today. Enrol now (NO APPLICATION and NO SELECTION required, you will enrol to the course immediately) by using this link.

HOP platform will ask you to create a profile or use My Salto login credentials. 

The course materials are in English, with most content translated to Spanish, Italian, German and Turkish.

You can access the online content at any time starting from 2nd of October to 12th of November. In addition to that, we offer live webinars and networking opportunities that will take place in October 2023.

This Massive Open Online Course offers opportunities to explore:

  • Learning the essentials of the European Solidarity Corps;
  • To learn how to reach the impact on the personal, organisation and community levels
  • Discovering the format and practice of Volunteering projects;
  • Discovering the essence of the Solidarity project and the main steps to start it;
  • To learn what it takes to be ready to apply for the ESC grant
  • To learn how to acquire a Quality Label
  • To explore opportunities of Humanitarian Aid activities
  • To understand what are the possible ways to support young people during the European Solidarity projects
  • Networking among course participants.

We will organise 2 thematic webinars focusing the impact of ESC projects:

  • Webinar on Reaching the Personal Impact: 17th October, 14:00 to 15:00 CET
  • Webinar on Reaching the Community Impact: 27th October, 14:00 to 15:00 CET

You can enrol now using your Salto-Youth login or your HOP account. 

Upon successfully completing the course, learners will be awarded with Open Digital Badges and a Youthpass certificate.
