Massive Open Online Course on European Solidarity Corps 2026

A free and open online course for everyone interested in exploring European Solidarity Corps (ESC). During the 8-week course, you will discover how you can use ALL the opportunities that the Programme has to offer.

This online course will help you discover the full range of opportunities offered by the European Solidarity Corps, enabling you to start making a difference today. 

Everyone, who applied via this Call will be invited to enroll to the course by the end of September, just a few days before the start of the course. 

The course materials are available in English, with most content also translated into Spanish, Italian, German and Turkish.

This Massive Open Online Course offers opportunities to explore:

  • The essentials of the European Solidarity Corps
  • How to create impact at personal, organisational and community levels
  • Practical ways to recognise learning acquired through project experiences
  • Steps to initiate Volunteering Projects
  • The essence of a Solidarity Project and the main steps to get started
  • How to prepare an application for an ESC grant and how to obtain a Quality Label
  • Opportunities within Humanitarian Aid activities
  • Ways to support young people during European Solidarity Corps projects
  • Networking with fellow course participants

Upon successfully completing the course, learners will be awarded with Open Digital Badges and a Youthpass certificate.

This course is coordinated by the SALTO European Solidarity Corps Resource Centre, hosted by Leargas, National Agency for Erasmus+ in Adult Education, School Education, Vocational Education and Training, Youth and Sport, and co-financed by the Italian and Austrian National Agencies. 

The content is developed by the team of course facilitators and developers from the NGO "AWERO" in cooperation with various external experts and researchers.
