Making Way: Online seminar and capacity buildings on Disability Inclusive Youth Work

E-learning

11-13 November 2025 | Virtual, Belgium - DE

This seminar, led by Nina Portolan of the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL) will answer the question “How can I make my youth work more inclusive?”

This seminar, led by Nina Portolan of the European Network on Independent Living (ENIL) will answer the question “How can I make my youth work more inclusive?” through interactive sessions featuring an exploration of young disabled people’s barriers to participation, sharing of lived experiences, an overview of legislation that can support your efforts, and a series of tools, tips, and tricks for your next project!

Over the course of two 90 minute sessions, on November 11 and 13, we will try to dismantle barriers and stereotypes in two equally important aspects of our work, ensuring inclusion in all steps of the process:

1.     Session 1: Foundations, reaching communities, attitudes, knowledge and networking

2.     Session 2: Action planning, Infrastructure, legislation, funding, programming
