MAKING THE RIGHT CAREER CHOICES

Training Course

18-27 November 2026 | Lithuania

Youth Exchange bringing 32 young people from Lithuania, Türkiye, Italy and Spain together to explore career paths, develop skills, build motivation and create career plans.

Erasmus+ Youth Exchange taking place in Kaunas, Lithuania, from 18–27 November 2026. The project brings together 32 young people from Lithuania, Türkiye, Italy and Spain for an international learning experience focused on career development and personal growth.

Many young people at the beginning of their careers struggle to identify a professional path that matches their interests, strengths and goals. They may lack knowledge about available opportunities, awareness of their competencies, or a clear plan for developing their skills. This can lead to uncertainty about their future, whether they are studying, working or not yet engaged in career activities.

During the eight-day exchange, participants will explore different professional opportunities and career paths, assess their competencies and identify areas for improvement. Through interactive and inclusive non-formal learning activities, they will work on developing a positive mindset, discovering their career motivation and creating short- and long-term personal development plans.

The project also focuses on the role of non-formal learning, mentorship and international experience in professional development. By bringing together young people from different countries, the exchange creates an opportunity to share experiences, approaches and perspectives on career choices while challenging stereotypes connected to professional paths.

The project aims to have an impact beyond the mobility itself. Following the exchange, participants will establish Career Advancement Clubs in their home countries. These clubs will provide local spaces where young people can meet, exchange experiences, explore career opportunities, develop practical skills and support one another in achieving their professional goals.

Through these follow-up activities, participants will transfer the knowledge and tools gained during the exchange to their local communities and adapt them to the needs of young people in their respective contexts.
