MADE 4 YOUTH is a KA1 of Erasmus + to involve 24 participants from 8 diferents countries (Latvia, Portugal, Turkey, Italy, France, Spain, Slovakia and Cyprus) in Tukums (LATVIA). The objectives of the project are to: Provide youth workers with know-how for decision making in planning and developing initiatives with youngsters and improving their project management competences focusing on each phase of the project life, partnership and communication; Increase the understanding of different quality aspects of youth exchanges such as: project design connecting topics, objectives and activities, cooperation with partners, intercultural learning, learning assessment, impact and results; Provide introduction to the Erasmus+: Youth in Action Programme, focusing on main features and priorities (mainly for newcomers to the programme); Critically reflect upon their previous international experience(s) - good and bad practices- as participants, coordinators or as partners; Support participants in putting in practice the learnings gained, submitting quality application forms to their NAs (through planning project ideas in partnership during one TC session and offering a mentoring support after the TC); Experience a non-formal learning process and understand how to support young people's learning process in the project; Facilitate the creation of partnership for further projects among the organisations (through the positive exchange among experienced and newcomers organisations).

NGO PKTT promotes cultural diversity among local society and global networks, volunteer activities, including volunteer education, education of local and international community about world’s art, development of programmes to promote public participation and increased awareness about environmental diversity and protection. The organisations biggest project started 2 years ago named Tukku Magi is dedicated to bringing together creative expressions from cultures across the globe and presenting them in their uniqueness and interaction, avoiding labelling and direct comparison. Its mission is to reshape perceptions of traditional art, bringing it as an equal partner into modern artistic life. The mission of the Tukku Magi Project is to create a unique multi-cultural museum in Latvia—the first of its kind in Northern Europe.

This project is financed by the Erasmus+ Programme (don't have any participation Fee).
The participants don't have any cost during the Activities (Turkum - Latvia). This project provides accommodation, food, local transport (if necessary), and all material for the sessions. The participants are responsible for the insurance. This TC was approved by the Latvia National Agency Erasmus+.
According to the Programme Erasmus+, travel costs are covered 100% up to the maximum amount defined on the base of the kilometric distance from sending organisation town to the project place, following EU Distance Calculator (0€ Latvia \ 275€ Slovakia, France, Italy \ 360€ Turkey, Spain and Cyprus \ 530€ - Portugal). This budget is for the complete travel, from home to the venue of the Training Course, in Turkum (Latvia), including local transport.
