Conference – Symposium - Forum

4-6 October 2023 | Lublin, Poland

It will be a FORUM for youth leaders and youth workers active in the field of youth democratic participation who are ready to share their practices and to discuss new challenges of the 3rd decade of XXI century.

Orginisers of the FORUM invite you to visit Lublin - the European Youth Capital 2023. Lublin played a very symbolic role in the history of Central Eastern Europe in XVI century. Nowadays it could be an important place for discussions on European values and role of youth engagement in democratic societies development. Lublin is a border city to Ukraine and Belarus where people still need to find the democratic values of new Europe.

The objectives of the FORUM are:

To explore good and bad practices of youth participation;
To discuss opportunities of international cooperation for better quality of youth participation activity in frame of the Erasmus+ programme;
To empower youth democratic participation with especial focus on innovative tools and leadership skills.

During the FORUM participants will have opportunity to meet civil society activists and opinion leaders from all over the Europe.

Before applying please contact the NA of your residence country to check if it is involved in this concrete project and committed to cover travel costs. NB! Learn about possible participation fee and other relevant rules.

Costs

Participation fee

Participants from Eastern Partnership countries will not pay participation fee. Participants from the Programme Countries are requested to contact their National Agency in order to clarify this issue. It will depend on each NA's policy.

Accommodation and food

The hosting National Agency will organise the accommodation and covers the costs for accommodation and food.

Travel reimbursement

Please contact your National Agency (NA) or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) in order to know whether they would support your travel costs. If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
