Listening to Every-Body

Training Course

2-9 November 2026 | Issor , France

Listening to Every Body is a training course for youth workers exploring body awareness, inclusion and group dynamics through movement, Process Work, Theatre of the Oppressed, reflection and nature-based activities.

Listening to Every Body is a six-day Erasmus+ training course exploring inclusion through emotions, body awareness, relationships and group dynamics. Together, we will look at how inclusion and exclusion are experienced at personal, group and societal levels—and how this understanding can help us create positive change in youth work.

The course is designed for youth workers, trainers, facilitators, educators, project coordinators and volunteers who are actively involved in youth work and non-formal learning. We especially welcome people working directly with young people, including those facing social, cultural or economic barriers. No previous experience with the proposed methods is needed—only curiosity and a willingness to participate, reflect and learn together.

The programme takes participants on a journey from the individual to the wider world. We will begin by exploring identity, emotions, inner barriers and personal patterns. From there, we will move towards group relationships, social roles, rank, privilege and collective processes, before looking at our connection with nature and the communities around us.

Learning will be active and participatory. We will use movement, creative exercises, Process Work, Social Lab, Theatre of the Oppressed, group reflection, nature-based activities and the Work That Reconnects. Participants will learn through experience, exchange ideas and prepare activities that they can adapt to their own youth-work settings.

By the end of the course, participants will feel better equipped to recognise exclusion and power dynamics, create more inclusive learning spaces, work constructively with emotions and group processes, and strengthen participation and belonging among young people.
