LIFT — Leadership, Impact, Facilitation & Teamwork
Training Course
17-23 October 2026 | Rabka - Zdroj, Poland
The first training course in the LIFT programme cycle will introduce participants to the methodology of youth work in the context of youth exchanges. It will focus on developing the competences needed to facilitate learning processes, create meaningful participation opportunities for young people, and support their personal and social development. Participants will explore how to empower young people by giving them ownership of activities, accompanying them in their learning journeys rather than directing them, and recognising the key needs of young people in this area.
The programme combines experiential learning, peer exchange, reflection, and practical facilitation exercises to prepare participants for leading future international youth exchanges and contributing to high-quality youth work.
The objectives for this Training Course are:
- To internalise youth work methodology and strengthen the youth work approach towards young people participating in youth exchanges,
- To develop facilitators’ competences, especially empowering and giving space based on identified needs,
- To consolidate teams of facilitators who’ll confidently support young people in their youth exchanges,
- To develop practical and tailor-made solutions on how to support young people in the development of their youth exchanges.
Expected tangible results:
- A pool of facilitators (group, network) collaborating in future projects,
- A collection of practical approaches to supporting youth-led planning of youth exchanges,
- Schemes for the next youth exchanges.
We invite:
- Youth leaders interested in becoming facilitators of youth exchanges
- Youth workers, at different stages of development, interested in starting to use international youth exchanges as a format for their youth work.

Europe4Youth is the organisation supporting young people in all important aspects of their lives. We ensure that all young people have the conditions and opportunities for education, development and participation in public life, and thus create a healthy and democratic civil society, from the local level to the European level.

- provide youth information, as well as support and consultation,
- moderate and manage local youth centres in Kraków and Rabka-Zdrój,
- advise and consult local authorities regarding youth policies, as well as work with youth participation structures to strengthen them and empower them to be active members of democracy
- manage educational mobilities with young people: youth exchanges, our own local projects,
- support people and organisations working with youth through training, seminars and capacity building,
- develop edu-tools: games, eduLARPs, RPGs, workshop scenarios that fit current needs and profiles of young people,
- run and support local youth media - Info Portal of Lesser Poland.

Costs
Participation fee
There is no participation fee.
Accommodation and food
Within the project budget, accommodation is provided for all activity days and 2 travel days (8 nights in total), and meals for every activity day, starting with dinner on the arrival day, through breakfast on the departure day.
Travel reimbursement
Travel costs are covered by the Erasmus+ Programme, and the travel must comply with Erasmus+ regulations. The available limit per person is indicated in the current Erasmus+ programme guide and depends on the travel distance (in a straight line on the map).
To know which limit applies to you, check the distance from the city of the headquarters of your sending organisation to Rabka-Zdrój in the Erasmus + Distance Calculator. If you spend less on your travel, you will be reimbursed exactly the amount you spent. If your travel is more expensive than the limit, the difference would have to be covered by you (unless your sending organisation use a different policy).
