The TC for people working with Roma communities or interested in working with Roma youth. Participants will experience Roma culture and history, see the possibilities in YiA and receive support in creating of int. projects involving Roma youth.
Objectives: - to explore the specifics of Roma youth work and foster the intercultural learning experience - looking for possibilities of international cooperation within the framework of Roma youth work - to encouradge participants to use the opportunities of YiA programme in work with Roma youngsters - to increase the knowledge about YiA programme (especially Youth exchanges) - support the participants in creating new international projects involving Roma youngsters - to exchange experiences of working with this target group

Costs

The hosting cost will be provided by Slovak National Agency for the YiA Programme. Other National Agencies for the YiA programme will cover the travel costs of participants coming from Programme Countries, according to their own rules. Please check with the National Agency of your country whether they intend to send participants to this activity before you apply. Any insurance, especially medical, is a privite responsibility of each participant.
