Leaders of Tomorrow: Ikigai Coaching for Youth Development

Training Course

1-9 August 2026 | Wójtowice, Poland

Leaders of Tomorrow: Ikigai Coaching for Youth Development is an Erasmus+ project designed to equip youth workers with practical coaching skills & body-awareness techniques to support youth in finding purpose, building resilience & improving well-being.

Leaders of Tomorrow: Ikigai Coaching for Youth Development is an Erasmus+ training course designed to strengthen the competences of youth workers in supporting young people’s personal development, well-being, and sense of purpose.

The project introduces the Ikigai framework as a practical and holistic tool to help young people explore their strengths, values, passions, and aspirations. By integrating coaching methodologies with body-awareness and somatic practices, participants will gain innovative approaches to foster resilience, self-awareness, and motivation among youth.

The training is based on non-formal education principles, emphasizing experiential learning, reflection, and peer exchange. Participants will actively engage in practical exercises, group processes, and coaching activities that can be directly transferred to their daily youth work practice.

A key focus of the project is to equip youth workers with concrete tools to support young people in navigating uncertainty, making meaningful life choices, and developing a balanced and purpose-driven life path. The Ikigai approach encourages a deeper understanding of the connection between personal fulfillment and contribution to society.

In addition, the project promotes international cooperation, intercultural learning, and the exchange of good practices among youth workers from different European countries. It aims to build a sustainable network that fosters future collaborations and continued professional development in the field of youth work.

Objectives of the training:

  • Train Youth Workers in Ikigai-based Coaching Skills
  • Equip Youth Workers with Practical Coaching Tools
  • Integrate Body-Awareness Techniques into Youth Work
  • Foster Ongoing Collaboration Among Youth Workers

Ultimately, Leaders of Tomorrow contributes to empowering youth workers to better guide young people towards increased well-being, active engagement, and a stronger sense of direction in their personal, educational, and professional lives.
