Key of Sustainability

Partnership-building Activity

12-17 January 2027 | Vatra Dornei, Romania

A Partnership Building Activity for NGO professionals to develop real project proposals, build strong partnerships, and use AI strategically for Erasmus+ KA2, EU Funding & Tenders and other funding opportunities.

This Partnership Building Activity (PBA) brings together youth workers, NGO professionals and representatives of organisations active in youth work and non-formal learning who want to move from project ideas to strong, fundable proposals and sustainable international partnerships.

The activity will take place in Vatra Dornei, Romania, from 12 to 17 January 2027 and will combine partnership building with hands-on project development and the strategic use of Artificial Intelligence in project writing.

Rather than focusing on Erasmus+ KA1 mobility projects, participants will explore opportunities such as Erasmus+ KA2, relevant EU calls available through the Funding & Tenders Portal, and other European, national or local funding opportunities relevant to youth work and non-formal education.

During the PBA, participants will work on real needs and project ideas, identify suitable funding opportunities, develop potential partnerships and explore how AI can support different stages of project development — from research and needs analysis to project design, intervention logic, drafting and critical review.

The activity is designed as a practical working space, not only as a training course. Participants are therefore expected to actively contribute their organisational experience, ideas and expertise, while looking for potential partners with whom they can continue developing projects after the activity.

The programme will use non-formal education, experiential learning, peer-to-peer exchange, practical workshops and collaborative project-writing sessions.

The activity will be facilitated by Clotaire Ntienou, an experienced EU project director, grant writer, trainer and digital innovator with extensive experience in Erasmus+ and European project development. His work also includes the development and use of AI-based tools supporting NGOs in project design, grant writing and proposal evaluation. CV_Clotaire_Ntienou_2026

We are particularly looking for participants who:

are actively involved in an NGO or organisation working with young people and/or non-formal learning;

are interested in developing European, national or local funded projects beyond KA1 mobility activities;

want to build meaningful partnerships with other organisations;

have a concrete challenge, need or project idea they would like to explore;

are interested in using AI critically and strategically in project development;

are willing to actively work on project ideas during the PBA and continue the collaboration afterwards.

Previous experience in project writing is welcome, but the activity is also open to participants who want to strengthen their project-development skills and can demonstrate a genuine organisational interest in developing future projects.
