JuKaVa nonformal method – learning through playing is a 10 days training course whose purpose is to offer participants the chance to learn an innovative non-formal method for working with kids.
The purpose of this project is to help the 28 participants acquire competences in designing and implementing an educational program for kids by using the Jukava method.
Objectives:
1. Following the 10 days of training, the 28 participants will improve key skills about empathic communication with children, correct relationship with them using argumentation, body language, verbal and paraverbal communication which will assist them in improving communication with children and adolescents
2. The 28 participants will learn how to use Jukava method in youth work and how using what they have learnt in this method propose and implement new projects for children and adolescents beneficiaries
3. Increase the involvement of working with children for youth workers who have no experience in this area and the fact that they will learn Jukava methods will help them gain confidence in their capacity to work well with children
4. At the end of the project, the 28 participants will learn the practical skills on how to create a non-formal education program for children and the impact that consistently they can share with other youth workers and their beneficiaries.
5. Raising awareness of participants about the importance of learning and using innovative methods in activities with children.
Participants
• Youth workers that have experience in working with kids/teenagers, interested in learning new non-formal methods for working with kids;
• Youthworkers that are not only motivated, enthusiastic and interested in learning the method, but also open and motivated to teach others or to improve the method in newly created programmes;

This project is financed by the Erasmus+. Being selected for this course, all costs (accommodation, travel, visa, etc.) relevant to participation in the course will be covered. There is no participation fee. For your travelling expenses we can reimburse a maximum amount of 275€ per person / training (for travelling distances > 500km; for travelling distances < 500km the covered costs are max. 180€).
Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
