Into the wild II

Training Course

20-27 July 2024 | Santiago de Compostela, Spain

Into the wild is a Personal development training to explore in a practical way experiential learning. A challenge that will bring you to walk 100km of "Santiago's way" on a survival mode.

Into the wild is not a traditional Erasmus+ course. Is an invitation for one adventure on which together with people from all around Europe you'll stretch your limits and develop as a person and as a youth leader.

On this project you'll discover and learn about experiential learning in your own skin. A methodology that will help you to deepen the impact of your work with youth at the same time that allows you to grow as a person.

Project is divided in 3 phases:

Introduction (Day 1): Time to meet the group and create teams. We'll dedicate some time to prepare phisically and mentally for the Camino

Adventure (Day 2-5): Each team of 4 will have the challenge of walking the last 100km of one of Santiago's routes. Together with your colleagues you'll have to find your way till Compostela with no phones, minimum luggage and almost no budget.

Reflection (Day 6): Through several exercises we'll digest the outcomes, struggles and learnings of the experience. This will help us to design new deep experiences to work emotions with our respective target groups.

This project is designed for youth workers, leaders and content creators over 18 years old. Residents in any of the EU countries who are interested in personal development and experiential learning.
