International Solidarity Project Meet-Up

Seminar

16-19 April 2024 | Prague, Czech Republic

The “International Solidarity Project Meet-Up” is an international meeting for Solidarity Project team members. It will bring together young people who are implementing/or have implemented a Solidarity Project.

The meet-up is for you...

  • If you are a young person who is implementing/has implemented a local Solidarity Project.

A Solidarity Project is an activity initiated, developed and implemented by young people themselves for a period from 2 to 12 months. It gives a group of a minimum of five young persons a chance to express solidarity by taking responsibility and committing themselves to bring positive change in their local community.

It is a great opportunity:

  • If you want to hear about what other project teams of young people were doing while your project took place,
  • If you think of your project as the beginning of a path that will lead you to new European adventures
  • And finally, if you want to meet other people with the same aim as you: to be active in their community and make an impact.

We encourage you to join this meeting together with another project team member, or you can apply individually.

Solidarity project team members who participate will have the opportunity to:

  • To showcase their Solidarity Project (idea);
  • To implement their Solidarity project in high quality through peer learning from already implemented projects;
  • To become part of the international European Solidarity Corps community;
  • To connect local initiatives with a European dimension (aka to feel the European spirit);
  • To explore  future possibilities in Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps
  • Last but not least, they will celebrate successes, inspire others and get some new inspiration for their project implementation or future activities.

Dates: 16 - 19 of April 2024 (Arrival day 16.4.2024 registration and dinner together in the evening, departure day 19.4.2024 in the afternoon).
