International contact making seminar between European Lead Organizations within European Solidarity Corps

Partnership-building Activity

11-14 November 2024 | Italy

The activity, organised by IT NA E+/ESC, is addressed to ESC lead organizations willing to count on a trustable partner for future volunteering projects,

The contact making seminard aims to provide a space for organizations to get useful tips for the implementation of a project through an exchange of good practices.

It will create space to support quality of ESC projects and it wants to provide a chance for organizations to know each other as partners of future ESC projects, as well to generate new project ideas and to develop joint solutions for different issues and problems. Thus, by participating to this seminar, participants will be able to strengthen capacity-building of their organizations and to implement international projects with better efficiency and effectiveness. This will improve communication and cooperation between organizations, and the impact of volunteering projects.

Main objectives

  • to offer a meeting space for ESC accredited organizations to develop partnerships and afterwards to be able to submit good quality applications and effectively implement volunteering projects;
  • to provide a learning context for sharing knowledge and experiences between organizations and representatives involved in youth work developing voluntary activities;
  • to reflect on the roles, responsibilities and challenges within the EVS volunteer support system.

The applicants should be active in the field of ESC Volunteering projects as coordinating organisation and interested in improving the partnership building and management, and be able to work and communicate in English, and be more than 18 yo.

The seminar will be based on the principles and practices of non-formal education, and a diversity of working methods will be used for learning. The learning methodology is based on the concept of experimental learning, in an atmosphere where participants can learn from each other and feel empowered to improve projects’ quality related to foster young people with fewer opportunities involvement.

The 3 days seminar will start on November 11th afternoon, and end on 14th after lunch.
