Erasmus+ Project: InDANCE – Exploring Accessibility through Inclusive DANCE

Project Number: 2025-3-EL02-KA153-YOU-000386465

This call is open exclusively to participants residing in Belgium who wish to join the first international training activity of the Erasmus+ project InDANCE – Exploring Accessibility through Inclusive DANCE.

The project focuses on accessibility, inclusion and the use of dance as a tool in youth work and non-formal education, bringing together professionals, artists and youth workers from different countries and backgrounds.

When?

14–18 September 2026
(excluding travel days)

Where?

ISON – Inclusive Arts Space, Athens, Greece

Participants will take part in:

  • Inclusive dance workshops
  • Accessibility practices (audio description, tactile methods and more)
  • Experiential and non-formal learning activities
  • Intercultural learning
  • Exchange of good practices
  • Co-creation of tools for more accessible youth work

All participants will receive a Youthpass Certificate.

We are looking for people who:

  • reside in Belgium
  • are active in youth work or non-formal education
  • AND have experience or interest in arts, dance or creative practices
  • are interested in inclusive approaches
  • are willing to work in mixed groups of disabled and non-disabled participants
  • are motivated to actively participate in experiential and movement-based activities
  • wish to apply the acquired knowledge in their work with young people
  • can communicate in English (working language of the training)

Priority will be given to:

  • participants with fewer opportunities
  • disabled participants
  • people working with disabled communities
  • participants from diverse social and cultural backgrounds
  • applicants with strong motivation to apply the learning outcomes
  • applicants interested in participating in the second activity of the project (Workshop & Public Performances in Athens, late 2026 – early 2027)

Participants selected for the second activity will have the opportunity to apply the methodologies learned during the training through co-creation processes and public inclusive performances.

Financial Conditions

  • Participation is free of charge.

The Erasmus+ grant covers:

  • accommodation
  • meals
  • training and participation costs
  • travel costs according to Erasmus+ distance bands

Accommodation will be provided in shared rooms in Athens. Further details will be communicated to selected participants. Accessibility requirements and specific support needs will be taken into consideration.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs of up to €395 are covered for participants travelling from Belgium, in accordance with Erasmus+ funding rules.
