Training Course

Training course where participants will develop thier competencies in field of using theatre methodology for youth work.

The project „Inclusion on stage” aims to design learning methodologies for inclusion of youth with fewer opportunities sector through intercultural facilitation methodology based on theatre of the oppressed which enable development of participants level of competances and increase their participation in society.

Objectives:

  • Combining the formal education concepts with the non-formal theatrical methodology ;
  • Combining non-verbal communication methods (theater, drama, mime) with youth work ;
  • Increasing participation of educators at the local and regional level ;
  • Promoting theatre methodology for youth empowerment .

The workshops during the training would be based on non-formal education. The main methods used during the training would be physical theatre, improvise theatre, visual theatre. Trainers are going to use the experimental learning approach throughout the sessions.

The "Active Kids" Foundation, is very active in the field of social, cultural, ethnic and geographical inclusion It was created on the initiative of youth workers, leaders, educators and local trainers to support excluded and less privileged for social, economic and geographic reasons from the areas of Wieliczka, Sygneczow, Grabówki, Niepołomice, Lanckorona, Siercza, Podstolice, Janowice, Rożnów and Lednica Górna. Organization works mainly with authoring methods based on the principles of non- formal education.

Costs

Participation fee

there is no fee for participants.

Accommodation and food

The accomodation, meals, materials, workshops are covered by the Eramsus + grant.

Travel reimbursement

245 euro from participants coming from Programme countries.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
