Inclusion matchmaking – Find European partners for inclusion projects

Partnership-building Activity

25-29 February 2020 | Laško, Slovenia

European inclusion networking across borders is still a challenge. This activity tackles these challenges by providing a European networking opportunity for professionals dealing with inclusion and those who are looking for partners in inclusion projects.

The aim of the event is to encourage and support inclusive projects in the framework of Erasmus+ YiA and the European Solidarity Corps programme.

For instance, professionals focussing on youth with special needs (disability, health challenges) will get the chance to network and explore inclusion opportunities in the EU programmes Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps. Both programmes offer tools for empowering and supporting participation as well as social integration of young people.

The SPI Inclusion matchmaking will be an open space for getting to know other inclusion professionals’ work and interests, for exploring together potential ideas for common projects, for building quality partnerships and for preparing EU programme grant applications. Specifically, this partnership-building activity will be an opportunity to find partners and partner organisations for further cooperation. Overall, this activity wants to encourage and support inclusive projects in the framework of the EU programmes Erasmus+ YOUTH IN ACTION and the European Solidarity Corps.

Aims and objectives

- To encourage and support inclusive projects supported by the EU programmes Erasmus+: Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps.

- To explore Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps projects as tools of empowering and supporting participation as well as social integration of young people with disability or health challenges.

- To create an open space for meeting partner organisations for future international cooperation.

The activity will start on Tuesday, 25th February 2020 with dinner, and end on Saturday, 29th February 2020 with breakfast.
