Training Course

16-23 May 2019 | Calalzo di Cadore, Italy

6 days training course designed to offer new skills and tools to enhances competences and knowledge of youth workers working with young people in need, especially NEET and young people with fewer opportunities.

The most recent EU Youth Report indicated that sadly more than 13 milions of youht all over the Europe are not in Emplyment, Educatin and Training (NEET) and the trend shows a constant incresing.  The Paris Declaration 2015 acknowledges that youht represent the future and that the work done to buid on youth's sense of initiative and participation must be collective and reinforced. In the other hand work with young people requires youth workers who continuously increase their competences to improve the quality of their work, so for this reason 'imPACT' project is designed to improve the quality of youth work especially focused and addressed at youth at risk of exclusion, NEET and young people with fewer opportunities.

It consist in 6 full training days and the specific objectives are:

- develop deep understanding of the issues related to youth at risk, especially NEETs and youth with fewer opportunities;

- to increase the capacity of youth workers to empower young people they work with, especially youth at risk;  

- to increase their employability and initiative spirit;

- to provide concrete learning tools and methods for developing life skills fot his specific target;

- to increase motivation of youth workers in working with this target and explore new approaches;

- to create the space for follow up cooperation activities among partner organizations, focusing on youth at risk, especially NEETs and youth with fewer opportunities.

 

The training is addressed to youth workers (over 18) that are involved in youth work with different roles (youth workers, youth leaders, coaches, mentors and volunteers), including people with fewer opportunities. The participation of teachers and professionals involved in youth organization work is also possible.

Participation fee

There are no participation fee.

Accommodation and food

'imPACT' is a project financed by the Erasmus+ Programme, thus all the activities, accommodation and food are 100% covered by the EU grant.

Travel reimbursement

The travel costs will be reimbursed to the participants after the training and burocracy procedure execution, to the maximum amount limit detailed as follows:

- Spain, Estonia, Bulgaria, Romania, France, Portugal and Germany: up to 275€

- Cyprus: up to 360€

- Slovenia and Croatia: up to 180€

- Italy: up to 20€

It is established on the base of E+ program rules and using the European Distance Calculator.

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
