IMECE.Lab 2020 - Online Event on German-Turkish Youth Work

Conference – Symposium - Forum

8 December 2020 | Online Event, Türkiye

IMECE.Lab is an online event to support networking in German-Turkish youth work. We will offer space to exchange good practices and share experiences on current developments within the youth field.

We invite you:

  • to exchange your experiences on how you managed to stay in contact with your German/Turkish partner during these last months 
  • to share your good practice of digital youth projects and solidary actions between Germany and Turkey
  • to discuss the opportunities and limits of digital projects
  • to explore blended projects combining face-to-face and online formats
  • to find ideas and partners for new projects (online and offline)
  • to join hands to strengthen the community of German-Turkish youth work

Participant profiles:

  • Young people and alumni of youth exchanges - Young volunteers and alumni of volunteering and solidarity projects
  • Youth workers and leaders of international youth activities
  • Representatives of NGOs active in the field of youth work and cross-border volunteering
  • Public actors such as representatives of municipalities and other policy makers

 

IMECE.Lab is a cooperation of the German-Turkish Youth Bridge, IJAB – International Youth Service of the Federal Republic of Germany as well as the National Agencies for Erasmus + YOUTH IN ACTION and the European Solidarity Corps in Germany (JUGEND für Europa) and Turkey (Turkish National Agency). With this event, the partner organisations continue a row of events to support German-Turkish youth work and to make the potential of youth mobility projects visible. Since 2015, there have been 3 previous events that took place alternately in Berlin and Istanbul.
