IMECE.Lab 1: Well-being and mental health of young people

Seminar

27 January 2022 | online, Germany

The German-Turkish online workshop is an opportunity to catch up on the developments, share perspectives and discover ways to (re)connect. It is the first part of IMECE 2022.

IMECE.Lab 1, January 27, 9.30 - 12.30 CET, Well-Being and mental health of young people

The pandemic situation has confronted youth workers in Germany and Turkey with new challenges: How to keep in contact with young people without face-to-face contact? How to support young people in their adolescence in times of isolation? How to maintain mental health and well-being?

The German-Turkish online workshop is an opportunity to catch up on the developments, share perspectives and discover ways to (re)connect. We will speak with Prof. Dr. Emre Erdogan (Istanbul Bilgi University) and  Ela Evliyaoglu (Go For and clinical psychologist) about insights from youth research and experience from daily practice. Some time will also be reserved to discuss the key topics for IMECE Istanbul.

Further information on IMECE 2022 you can find attached.

IMECE 2022 is a cooperation of the German-Turkish Youth Bridge, IJAB – International Youth Service of the Federal Republic of Germany as well as the National Agencies for Erasmus + YOUTH and the European Solidarity Corps in Germany (JUGEND für Europa) and Turkey (Turkish National Agency). With IMECE 2022 the partner organisations continue a row of events to support German-Turkish youth work and to make the potential of youth mobility projects visible. Since 2015, there have been 4 previous events that took place in Berlin, Istanbul and online.
