Discover a new tool to certify the soft skills acquired by young people through local and international volunteering activities. Discover the e-learning platform, the certification process and how to use them in your organisation

The webinar will take place from 10am to 12:30pm Central European Time online. The main features of the certification platform and the possibility for new organisations to use thee certification system will be presented through interactice methods. Participants will also have time in small groups to get to know each other and create new partnerships in particular in the field of volunteering, learning certification and youth empowerment.

The platform

It is a certification platform that allows young people doing international and local volunteering activities to receive a certificate testifying the soft skills they have acquired. 

The latest version of the platform, launched in March 2021, gives the possibility to get the certificate in English, Turkish, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese. Volunteers have the possibility to go through 26 e-learning modules helping them to assess their level in each soft skill certified by the platform and to create a short dossier on their learning. At the end of the process the host organisation will validate the certificate taking responsibility on the validity of the info in it. The platform is complementary to the youthpass and is ment to provide volunteers with a flexible and reliable certificate investing few hours on it. The certificate is recognized at international level by the members of The GloRe Network international community and by several educationa and public institutions.

The GloRe Network is the umbrella organisation organisations need to be member of to use the certificate platform and that overview the correct usage of the platform and the memberships.

The webinar is part of GloCal Recognition, a project funded by Civil Society Dialogue between European Union and Turkey - V (CSD - V) aiming at fostering cooperation between European and Turkish civil society organisations in the field of volunteering and youth empowerment. In this framework the 2 project partners - Associazione Joint and EU Center, developed in cooperation with many other CSOs from Turkey, Europe and also from Latin America the new version of the certificate system that we will present and expand its use to young people doing not only international volunteering activities but also local volunteering activities.
