HELLO -Holistic English Language Learning Opportunities

Aim of the training course is to build confidence through the use of English to develop and implement inclusive international projects within Youth in Action programme. Objectives of the training course: • To create an opportunity for a cooperative learning experience for social workers from three Baltic states and young people they work with • To improve the ability of participants to communicate using English effectively through verbal and written forms • To create a safe space for participants to rehearse, practice and apply communication in English • To improve the knowledge and vocabulary of the jargon of the International youth and social field • To increase awareness and understanding of international opportunities within Youth in Action programme • To develop a greater understanding of youth participation and social inclusion • To give an opportunity for networking and a platform for collaborative future initiatives. Social workers are invited to apply in a tandem with one youngster they are working with and that would like to be a part of possible future project. Participants should have very little or no experience in the international youth work, but with intentions and commitment to develop international projects. Also previous experience in Youth in Action programme is not required but there should be interest in it. Only basic English skills are required.
