Working with youth workes and trainers to help develop healthy lifestyle habits in youth and the community. Working with different problems from different areas in Europe and finding common solutions for these problems.
his programme aims to equip participants with important experiential learning, essential for helping them educate their groups/pupils/teams in developing a healthy lifestyle taking into account all circumstances b it economical or cultural. The objective is to allow educators to understand the importance of a healthy lifestyle so that they can further educate others. Learning about the right choices and taking specific conditions into account. Learning about food types and preparation methods. In addition to the food aspect we will also look at easy and economical ways to keep fit with "what we have" and how important the entire process is in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle. DAY 1 Arrivals Introduction to the place of the training; local history and culture Getting to know each other DAY 2 Session 1: Introduction Introduction to the training programme Outline of the programme and its objectives; overview of the sessions and themes of the training Understanding what a healthy lifestyle means and the definitions Introduction to the basic principals of a healthy lifestyle; What is right, what is wrong and what we need to know. Coffee break Session 2: Taking advantage of what we have Lunch Session 3: Workshop Cultural impact on a healthy lifestyle Keeping to our traditions but making them healthy Coffee break Session 4: Workshop (continued) Continuation of workshop DAY 3 Session 1: Costs of a healthy lifestyle Making small changes to our choices as not in increase the costs for a healthy lifestyle Coffee break Session 2: Choices vs circumstances Workshop: Is our lifestyle determines by our choices or our circumstances Lunch Session 3: Workshop Workshop conclusion Seeing the outcomes of our workshop and working on the results Coffee break Session 4: Case study analysis Case study based on real examples. Free Time DAY 4 Session: Excursion Visit to local places Interact with a variety of people and see the diversity in lifestyle choices and outcomes. Lunch in local tavern Return back and coffee break Session 2: Workshop The ideal lifestyle Fact or fiction? Is it a dream or a possibility? DAY 5 Session 1: Sports and exercise methods Simple things we can do without any cost - daily plans, weekly plans Coffee break Session 2: Food selection Choosing the right foods Lunch Session 3: Workshop Preparation of food Healthy ways to prepare different foods Coffee break Session 4: Simulation Preparation of food continues Night Out DAY 6 Session 1: Knowing your limits Knowing what you are able to achieve and what you need to achieve to be and stay healthy Coffee break Session 2: Knowing your limits (continued) Financial considerations Lunch Session 3: Workshop Group work: creating a lifestyle program based on specific groups Working in groups and reflecting on what participants have learned. Use of acquired knowledge in given scenarios drawn from their own target groups. Building on what they will take home. Coffee break Session 4: Workshop continued Presentation of participants’ working plans DAY 7 Session 1: Project Helping my community to have a healthy lifestyle Based on what they have learned, participants will need to design and present their methods and ideas for what they will teach when they return home. Lunch Session 2: Project evaluation Group discussion and evaluation Evaluation of the results and reflection on the effectiveness of methods used for problem-solving Coffee break Session 3: Award ceremony Day 8 Departures
