Heal the DiscrimiNATION

By the end of the course participants will be able to: - Identify types of discrimination and be aware of the current situation in Europe regarding this subject; - Understand the power of education in dealing with discrimination; - Understand the young people behaviour; - Design a nonformal education session on discrimiantion topic, exercising team work and time management; - Experience communication barriers, labeling and other types of communication errors; - Analyse target group needs and adapt proper nonformal methods; - Understand values and the role they play in communication, conflict and discrimination; - Plan a detalied strategy for the young people they work with; - Establish new partnerships for future international projects. Participants` profile: We are looking for participants who: - Live in Croatia, Greece, Italy, Spain, Romania or Turkey; - Are 18 years old or older; - Are youth workers, youth leaders active in working with young people; - Are commited to fully participate in the course; - Are able to communicate in English; - Are motivated to implement future project ideas. The youth workers that never participated to Erasmus+ programs will have priority. This course is designed to be interactive and based on experiential learning. The maximum number of participants is 24 (4 participants/country).
