HEAL in Relationship: honesty, embodied awareness & leadership

Training Course

29 May - 2 June 2026 | Drugan (village), Bulgaria

A 3-day experiential small group workshop for teachers and youth workers to explore how embodied awareness, honest expression, and relational leadership can transform the way we connect, communicate, and co-create with others.

In times of increasing polarization, fast-paced communication, and emotional disconnection, many of us find ourselves longing for something deeper: real contact, honest expression, and relationships that can hold complexity without collapsing into conflict or withdrawal. Yet, despite our best intentions, we often lack the awareness and tools to stay present with our own inner experience, especially in moments of tension. Instead of connecting we fall into patterns of avoidance, projection, or control, reinforcing the very distance we wish to bridge.

Heal in Relationship: Honesty, Embodied Awareness and Leadership invites participants into a different way of being, rooted in moment-to-moment awareness of our emotional, mental, and physical experience. Through experiential practice, we begin to notice what is alive in us as it unfolds, and to express it with clarity, responsibility, and care. This process opens the possibility for authentic contact, where difference does not have to mean disconnection, and where honesty becomes a pathway to deeper trust rather than conflict.

At the heart of this workshop lies the understanding that relational leadership begins within. When we learn to stay with our own experience and meet others from an authentic and grounded place, we expand our capacity to lead, facilitate, and co-create spaces where healing and transformation can emerge. By attending to the emotional layers beneath perspectives and positions, we can move beyond surface-level dialogue and cultivate relationships that are resilient, responsive, and truly alive.

How do honesty and embodied awareness shape leadership?

In this workshop we invite you to explore leadership as something that begins within — through presence, curiosity, and a gentle turning toward your own experience. When we learn to name and stay with what is real for us, we slowly shift from reacting out of old patterns to responding from a more grounded, authentic place.

As our capacity to feel and stay with our inner experience grows, so does our ability to express ourselves with honesty and care. Emotions such as anger, vulnerability, or uncertainty become less overwhelming and more informative — guiding us toward clearer boundaries, deeper self-understanding, and more meaningful connection with others. In this space, nothing needs to be hidden or pushed away; everything can become part of the conversation.

From here, leadership naturally transforms. It becomes less about having the right answers and more about how we show up with presence, openness, and a willingness to be real. Relationships begin to feel more alive, and even moments of tension can turn into opportunities for connection, creativity, and shared growth.

We believe that the world we live in is urgently calling for relational leadership — leadership that can stay present and open to the rich tapestry of different perspectives and emotional realities, and weave them into deeper understanding and shared direction.
