GREEN GAMING. Training Course on Eco Gamification
Training Course
7-14 October 2016 | Tenerife, Spain
GREEN GAMING is a training seminar to learn, create and share new tools
for non-formal education, based in gamification techniques, in order to apply
them to environmental education activities and make them more attractive to
the youngsters.
During 8 days, the 24 youth leaders, youth workers and trainers of 9
countries in Europe, will work together in Tenerife to learn how to use game
mechanics in natural environments, in order to enhance motivation,
concentration, effort, loyalty and other positive values common to all games.
During the seminar, participants will share some examples of success and
have the opportunity to create new tools, based on the concepts of Deep
Ecology, that will be implemented with young people living in rural areas of the
South of the Island. And finally will be shared on the Net so they can be
implemented by all groups working in the field of environmental education.
The best game is the one where you don´t realize that you're playing.
Through play we learn to motivate young people to acquire sustainable life
habits and consciousness of being part of nature in which they live. And it is
that the game is, has been and will always be, part of human nature.
Deadline before 4th september 2016
