Training Course

26 November - 4 December 2022 | Nachod, Czech Republic

The training will equip youth workers, youth trainers and educators with the skills of game design and gamification in order to foster / ensure efficient and engaging educational process addressing current issues.

Objectives: 

  • to learn about the basics of game-design theory and its relation to person's nature
  • to discuss what makes games and gamification process educational
  • to reflect on connections between basic principles of games and non-formal education
  • to share personal experience in using games and reflect critically on learning outcomes
  • to learn about the opportunities behind games and gamification as well as their limitations
  • to create and test educational games or gamified systems for the purposes of the target groups
  • to plan the testing phase of the created prototypes with the target groups in the local communities
  • to provide opportunities for cooperation and networking
  • to inform about the learning opportunities of Erasmus+

Background of participants: 
- Youth workers and educators working with young people with fewer opportunities
- Should be 18 years old or over
- Should be able to communicate in English
- Should take part in the whole period of the training course
- Should be ready to promote activities in own community after the training course ends.

Selected participants are in charge of organising a local event (seminar, workshop , testing of the game etc) for own community within the month and a half after the training course comes to an end.
Selected participants are in charge of dissemination and visibility activities of the project.

Please note that reimbursement will be done after you organise a local event and do online dissemination of the training course.

Participation fee

There's no participation fee.

Accommodation and food

The food, accomodation as well as costs of the programme will be covered by project's budget. 

Travel reimbursement

The reimbursement limit: 

Participants from Czech Republic -  20€

Participants from Poland, Hungary  - 180 EUR

Participants from Netherlands, Latvia, Romania, Italy - 275 EUR

Participants from Portugal - 360 EUR
