Conference – Symposium - Forum
7-10 July 2026 | Riga, Latvia
The Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (iED) is looking for motivated young women aged 18–20 from Estonia, Lithuania and Finland to participate in the GEN E Riga International Girls Forum 2026 in Riga, Latvia.
This activity is organised within the Erasmus+ project Girls Who Lead – Navigating Leadership Skills in a Rapidly Evolving Europe (Project No. 2025-1-LV02-KA220-YOU-000361417), which aims to empower young women with leadership, entrepreneurial, digital and green skills and encourage their active participation in society and their local communities.
GEN E is Europe's largest entrepreneurship festival for young people. The event brings together participants from different countries to exchange experiences, develop leadership and entrepreneurial competences, build international networks and learn from inspiring entrepreneurs, educators and youth leaders.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
• Develop leadership, communication and entrepreneurial skills;
• Participate in non-formal learning activities, workshops and discussions;
• Meet young people, youth leaders and professionals from across Europe;
• Strengthen intercultural competences and international networking skills;
• Gain inspiration for future educational, professional and community initiatives.
The programme includes:
• Welcome and networking activities;
• Intercultural activities and City Rally in Riga;
• Entrepreneurship workshops and masterclasses;
• Company visits and learning experiences;
• Youth presentations and entrepreneurship competitions;
• International exhibitions and networking sessions;
• Informal evening and cultural activities;
• Gala Awards Ceremony.
Participant Profile
We are looking for:
• Young women aged 18–20;
• Available to travel to Riga, Latvia and participate in the full programme from 7–10 July 2026;
• Residents of Estonia, Lithuania or Finland;
• Interested in entrepreneurship, leadership, youth participation, innovation or community engagement;
• Motivated to participate in international non-formal learning activities;
• Able to communicate in English.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the selection process.

Travel costs to Riga and back will be fully covered.
Travel costs and accommodation bookings will be arranged directly by iED, and participants will not be required to make any payments.
