Games Aa A Solution For Social Issues part 2

The project will give rise to a network of organizations using gamification in youth work, able to stand by each other and multiply fair practices in different social contexts in Europe.

OBJECTIVES:

• To learn how to use the tool gamification in youth projects
• To involve participants in the development of a new creative resource (board games and simulations)
• To support cooperation mechanisms among different stakeholders
• Share among youth workers and partners common concerns about issues of conflict, conflict management, migration
• and prejudice, exchange good practices and tools

THE STRUCTURE

TC 1 was in Berlin, Germany 30.10-07.11.2021
The first activity was focused on different kinds of educational games and simulations, and how to use them in the field of NFE, during their work. During the TC participants worked in groups to design their own games. They investigated what makes existing games a success before making choices about what to make for their own game.

Homework stage
After the first TC, participants had the “Homework” stage, during which they needed to organize an activity for local youth, where they presented the game, that they created during the TC. 

TC 2 Hungary,Nagyborzsony 16.06 -21.06.2022
During the second part, the Hackathon will be organized in order to provide the participants with the space to go deeper in practice and update games, created during the first part or develop new games.
