Formula - 2: International Marathon of Project Ideas
International training course for participants from Latvia and Estonia will be focused on groups of youngsters who are motivated and willing to know more about Youth projects and develop their own Youth Exchange projects.
Have you ever thought about your own international project? Have you got a great idea and friends to support your idea, but don’t know from where to start and whom to ask for advice? This is a great opportunity for you and your team to participate in the international training course (TC) “Formula - 2: International Marathon of Project Ideas”.
“Formula - 2: International Marathon of Project Ideas” is an international training course for newcomers to Erasmus+ Youth in Action programme from Latvia and Estonia. It will focus on development of youth exchange projects by groups of youngsters who are motivated and willing to know more about Erasmus+ youth projects and develop their own Youth Exchange.
The TC is organized for participants from Estonia and Latvia, who are motivated and willing to know more about Erasmus+ youth projects and develop their own Youth Exchange.
The aims of the TC:
- to provide information on Erasmus+: Youth in Action projects;
- to provide information about the structure and content of Youth Exchange project;
- to motivate and support participants with their project idea and it’s development into a real project;
- to provide information about non-formal learning and work in groups;
- to foster committed and efficient partnership in projects;
Main focus of attention in TC will be Youth Exchange projects which you will be able to apply for upcoming deadline on 2nd of February. Participating in this TC will allow you to find partners for your projects on the spot, develop your idea together and apply for the upcoming deadline.
NB! This training course is created in close co-operation between Estonian and Latvian National Agencies. An added value of this special feature is a fact of having similar national realities and contexts of international youth work, so, it is easier to create a safe learning environment and foster mutual understanding among participants.
Practical bonus: if needed more language support can be facilitated through group works.
For additional support on 22nd of November there will be a webinar, which aims to give an insight on the Erasmus+ programme and the basics of Youth Exchange projects. After the training there will be a national follow-up meeting in each country, which will be taking place on 6th of January 2017.
Participants profile:
- groups of participants from Latvia and Estonia who have an idea and motivation to implement the Youth project;
- group of participants consisting of 3 people: 1 group leader (18+) and 2 participants (15-30 years of age). The group leader can be a youth worker, teacher, leader of the group etc. who is willing to work together with participants of the group and support them in development and implementation process of their future project. Group leader should at least be aware or with little experience in Erasmus+ projects (not necessarily as applicant).
