FINAL CONFERENCE "Participation Needs Nonviolent Debate for Conflict Transformation"

Conference – Symposium - Forum

20 July 2026 | Italy

Join the online conference presenting a Nonviolent Debate Methodology for youth workers. Explore tools for facilitating dialogue, managing conflicts constructively, and supporting young people affected by conflict, war, and polarization.

Join youth workers, educators, trainers, and peacebuilding practitioners from across Europe and beyond for the online final conference of our Erasmus+ KA2 project dedicated to the development of the nonviolent debate approach with young people affected by conflict and war.
In a time when young people are increasingly exposed to polarization, displacement, trauma, and the consequences of armed conflict, youth work has a crucial role to play in creating safe spaces for dialogue, understanding, and constructive engagement.
During this online event, we will present the project's training curriculum on Nonviolent Debate Methodology, a practical resource developed to support youth workers in facilitating meaningful discussions, managing disagreements constructively, and empowering young people to become active agents of peace within their communities.

Date and time: 20 July, 10:00-12:00 CET.

  • Insights into nonviolent communication and dialogue facilitation
  • Practical approaches for using debate as a tool for conflict transformation and peacebuilding
