Training Course

With this training course, we want to build competences of youth workers in organizing, implementing and evaluating inclusive educational activities and to structure the learning process in an effective way.

Objectives: 

  • to support youth workers in their competence assessment and self-reflection regarding their professional development;
  • to develop essential facilitation competences in meaningful communication;
  • to train the youth worker’s competences in a safe training environment;
  • to equip youth workers with a toolbox of up-to-date holistic and engaging learning methods
  • to build a necessary set of competences for adequate use of NFE methods for youth empowerment at the local level;
  • to discover diverse facilitation techniques and tools for inclusive youth work;
  • to build youth workers’ competences in self-expression (considering the use of voice, intonation, body language, gestures, positioning, use of space, mimics, graphics etc.) and about own communication patterns in various (learning) settings;
  • to develop graphic facilitation skills; 
  • to promote networking and cooperation between youth workers and support follow-up initiatives.

Participants' profile: 

Background: youth workers, trainers, youth leaders and educators who actively work at local/regional/national or international levels

-Should be 18 years old or over

-Should be able to communicate in English

-Should take part in the whole period of the training course

-Should be ready to promote activities in own community after the training course ends

Selected participants are in charge of organising a local event (seminar, workshop etc) for own community within the month and a half after the training course comes to an end.

Selected participants are in charge of dissemination and visibility activities of the project.

NB. The reimbursement will be done after filling in all participants' tasks.

Participation fee

There's no participation fee. 

Accommodation and food

The food, accomodation as well as costs of the programme will be covered by project's budget. 

Travel reimbursement

The reimbursement limit: 

Participants from Poland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, Romania - 275 EUR/participant

Participants from France- 180 EUR/participant

Participants from Netherlands - 20 EUR / participant

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
