Exploring Gender Identity Through Art

Training Course

19-26 August 2025 | Czech Republic

Two stages creative training to explore gender identity, inclusion and emotional well-being through art, therapy and self-expression. Open to youth workers, artists, and anyone ready for a transformative and inclusive journey!

This two-stage international training course, taking place from 19–26 August in the Czech Republic and 19–26 October in Morocco, is designed for youth workers, educators, and artists—both emerging and experienced — who are passionate about inclusion, creative expression, and personal transformation.

At the heart of this project is the commitment to establish an environment where diverse gender identities are not only understood but genuinely celebrated. By encouraging open dialogue, thoughtful discussion, and artistic expression, we aim to break down barriers and prejudices, laying the foundation for a more tolerant society.

Participants will embark on a deeply immersive experience that combines artistic methods, therapeutic practices, and reflective group work. These approaches will be used to explore gender identity in a supportive and inclusive space, empowering individuals to challenge stereotypes, question societal norms, and foster emotional well-being.

The training uses a non-formal education approach, treating art as a language for dialogue, healing, and empowerment. Through hands-on workshops, expressive arts, and guided self-exploration, participants will not only gain practical tools for addressing gender-related topics in their communities but also connect with their own inner experiences in meaningful ways.

Ultimately, the soul of this project lies in the creation of powerful artworks — tangible expressions of the wisdom, emotions, and insights uncovered during the journey. Each piece will tell a unique story, embodying the essence of gender equality and human rights. Our hope is that these works will grace the walls of our communities and inspire others to contribute to a more just and informed world.

Expect a journey of self-discovery, creativity, and connection — with yourself and a diverse group of like-minded individuals. This training is ideal for those ready to grow, reflect, and actively participate in building a more inclusive future.
