EVS – Key to Better Quality in Youth Work

Seminar

21-24 May 2017 | Lahti, Finland

EVS – Key to Better Quality in Youth work gives EVS organisations space to share good practices and knowledge of the use of EVS as a part of youth work with different target groups e.g. young people with fewer opportunities.
The aim of the EVS – Key to Better Quality in Youth work is to identify why EVS is a good tool and with whom we should work in EVS project. This tool fair underlines the value of EVS as a strategic part of youth work. Main topics are inclusion, partnership between different EVS organisations and collaboration inside / outside of the coordinating organisation. Results of the tool fair are expected to be practical, hands on practices and future plans for collaboration and training. Within the EVS – Key to Better Quality in Youth work we want to strengthen the network in Nordic and Baltic countries. Main methods: Expected participants are representatives of Youth work organisations /municipality youth work which use EVS as one tool for youth work and Youth Workers direct in contact with EVS projects as Mentor, work supervisor or administrative staff. EVS – Key to Better Quality in Youth work tool fair will be organised with collaboration of Municipality of Lahti Youth Services in Finland and Erasmus+ National Agencies from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Finland.
