EuroPeers Training Course (Bucharest, Romania)

Training Course

8-12 April 2024 | Bucharest, Romania

A training course for young people who took part in European Solidarity Corps/Erasmus+ Youth (former YOUTH IN ACTION) projects and want to share their European experiences with their peers.

You took part in a volunteering activity, implemented a solidarity project or participated in a youth exchange, a youth participation project, a DiscoverEU learning activity or another Erasmus+ youth (former YOUTH IN ACTION) or European Solidarity Corps activity? Probably you gained lots of experiences and got to know Europe from an exciting perspective. Are you interested in staying involved and sharing your experiences with others?

If you can imagine telling other young people about your European experiences and encouraging them to try suchlike, we invite you warmly to become a EuroPeer! EuroPeers are young people who have already taken part in a European Solidarity Corps/Erasmus+ youth (former YOUTH IN ACTION) project. They share their experiences and inform other young people (their peers) about these opportunities and other ways to engage in society and go abroad. This can be done in different ways and in the framework of various events.

During this international training course you will learn how to organise different types of EuroPeer events and how to share your European experience effectively with your peers.

Our focus during these training days will be on:

  • Exploring your personal and European experiences and ways in which you can take a more active role in your communities;
  • Understanding the principles that guide the Europeers network;
  • Sharing and learning from each other’s experiences as to further impact your local communities;
  • Learn how to take action and plan concrete measures you can take to help promote the values of the Europeers network and inspire other young people.
  • You will become part of a growing international network of active young people, meet other EuroPeers, get to know more about the European youth programmes and attend workshops on project planning and communicating the European idea.

You will also have time to develop your first own EuroPeer activity. During a virtual follow-up meeting after the training course (date TBD) you will reconnect with the other participants and plan future events. At the end of the training you will receive a certificate. Curious now?

Information about both the EuroPeers project and previous events organised by EuroPeers over the last years can be found here: www.europeers.org  and www.europeers.de/international.

Arrival day: 8.04, activity days: 9,10, and 11.04, departure day 12.04.
