EuroPeers European Network Meeting 2019

Seminar

9-13 October 2019 | Utrecht, Netherlands

The 5th EuroPeers European Meeting brings together EuroPeers and NA officers from the different countries where they can exchange practices, inspire each other and broaden their horizon.

EuroPeers are young people who have participated in the Erasmus+ / Youth In Action / European Solidarity Corps programme and want to share their European experiences with their peers. They inform young people in schools, fairs, youth clubs, cultural centers or on the street and talk about their experiences. They inform about the Erasmus+ / European Solidarity Corps programme and its possibilities as well as other mobility programmes. By organising or participating in all kinds of activities, like workshops or lessons, support NA events, and organising exhibitions, they motivate young people to become active and explore Europe.

Aims and Objectives:

• Broadening your horizon and extending your network

• Sharing good practices and challenges of EuroPeer in the different countries each

• Learning about the latest updates from the EU-youth programmes

• Working on competences that can support you as a EuroPeer

• Planning of (international) Europeers Actions

So far this project is (partially) implemented by the National Agencies in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia, UK and the region of SALTO South East Europe. NA representatives who are interested in implementing the programme, are welcome to take part in this meeting.

The Network Meeting shall provide an opportunity for networking between EuroPeers, National Agencies and other players (e. g. European Commission and Eurodesk staff), to share best practice, to inspire each other with ideas and to make concrete decisions about how the network will function and develop.

Participants will have as well opportunity to know new methods and tools helpful in their EuroPeers activities.

This Meeting is hosted by the Dutch NA and co-organised by the NA's of Estonia and Germany. In case participants or NA/Eurodesk staff of countries not listed above wish to take part. Please contact your NA and the organisers of the Network Meeting before submitting any applications.
