European Solidarity Corps International Training for Quality Label Experts

Training Course

28 June - 24 November 2021 | Online/Germany (Bonn), Germany

The aim of the training is to learn more about the new elements in Quality Label process and quality standards as well as to develop skills and competencies of internal and external Quality Label experts. This will improve the quality work in our network.

28-30 June 2021 + 22-24 November 2021| COMBINED ONLINE – RESIDENTIAL EVENT, Germany

The aim of the training is to learn more about the new elements in QL process and quality standards as well as to develop skills and competencies of QL experts. This will improve the quality work in our network.

This activity is funded by the European Solidarity Corps Programme.

Participants will have opportunities to:

1) get insights on how to read and analyse the Quality Label application;

2) develop communication skills, both related to the on-the-spot visit and desk assessment;

3) get inputs on important new elements in the Programme (e.g. environmental sustainability, digital transformation and strategic planning) and aspects still difficult to understand (e.g. solidarity, inclusion and diversity);

4) review different aspects of QL assessment with focus on: hosting/supporting and partner/lead role and the standards assessed (minimum criteria) for partner/lead role;

5) share different QL expert realities (e.g. assessing in different regions, different NA procedures, assessment grids & internal reports);

Please note that this is a combined on-line event and residential event. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the residential training might be transferred to an online setting as well.

Timeframe of the training

1. Online part: 28 - 30 June 2021: morning sessions, 3 hours per day. 

2. Self-organised learning period: from July to November 2021

3. Residential part: planned for 22 - 24 November 2021 (Please know that due to Covid-19 restrictions the residential training might be transferred to an online setting.)

Participation fee

This project is financed by the participating National Agencies (NAs) of the European Solidarity Corps  Programme. The participation fee varies from country to country. Please contact your National Agency or SALTO Resource Centre (SALTO) to learn more about the participation fee for participants from your country.

Accommodation and food

Accommodation and food will be covered by the organisers during the residential part. 

Please note that this is partially an on-line event and that it may be transformed into a fully on-line event due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Travel reimbursement

Travel reimbursement:
-  for participants from Programme Countries according to relevant sending NA/SALTO

- for participants from Partner Countries reimbursed by the organisers along with relevant visa costs.

If yes, after being selected, get in touch with your NA or SALTO again to learn more about the overall procedure to arrange the booking of your travel tickets and the reimbursement of your travel expenses.
