Learn from experts and concrete examples how to design a good project, get the funds, plan and manage the financial issues. Discover the key actions of Erasmus+ (the new programme for youth, education and training) and new EU programmes 2014-2020.
This structured intense course aims to improve participants’ practical skills in the design, management and funding of European projects from shaping the idea, to identify the right European programme, to design a good project to get the get the funds. The general aim of this course is to improve the quality and the accessibility of European projects in order to foster European integration and education by empowering and training education staff, NGO workers and volunteers, education-degrees graduates and those interested in developing European learning projects to successfully access and manage European funds. Thanks to this project the participants will: - Acquire knowledge and practical information about EU policies and funding opportunities 2014-2020 (especially Erasmus plus, formlerly called Erasmus for all, the new programme for youth, education and training) through specific and project-oriented learning sessions; - Improve their practical skills related to the management of the ideation and application process (including how to interpret correctly a call for proposal, how to design and develop effective project ideas, how to fill in the Application Form) through cooperative compilation of application forms and the analysis of successful projects; - Learn and get guidance on the preparation and management of the financial, budgeting and contractual aspects through concrete examples and direct evidence; - Learn best practices related the planning and implementation of the preparatory, visibility, dissemination and follow-up phases through concrete case studies and successful projects; - Make contacts with individuals and organisations interested in developing European projects through everyday cooperation and specific activities; - Access the e-learning platform with an introduction to EU institutions, overview on EU programmes 2014-2020 and new programme guides (including Erasmus+), EU framework budget 2014-2020 and annual budget for 2014, new financial information kit for EU projects, EVE and examples of past successful EU projects; - Spend one week in Italy with travel, accommodation and food all covered by Grundtvig in-service training scholarship. The methodology is highly practical and concrete. The trainers will make extensive use of evidence-based examples and experiences. Every day to assimilate and deepen the concepts successful projects will be presented and analyzed by the trainers and by others experts invited to bring their real accounts. Every day there is a 2-hour daily session dedicated to cooperative design and writing simulation in team of 4 people. With the support of the trainers at the end of the course each team will have developed a first draft of a European project. You can find more information about this training at www.grundtvig.it

Costs

All the costs (including travel, accommodation, food, tuition fee, materials, …. ) related to the participation to this training can be covered by a Grundtvig grant. The participants have to individually apply to their LLP Grundtvig National Agency before the 17th of September to obtain this grant. The fees are 780 € for accommodation and meals and 750€ for tuition and materials. These fee can be fully covered by an in-service training grant.
