It is now possible to enrol in the 2012 editions of the European Project Planning and Management training courses addressed to individuals who wish to successfully access and manage European funds in the field of education, training and culture.
It is now possible to enrol in the 2012 editions of the European Project Planning and European Project Management in-service training courses addressed to individuals who wish to acquire the skills for successfully accessing and managing European funds in the field of education, training and culture. More than 30 editions of the courses were already successfully carried out since 2005. The participation to the in-service training courses can be fully funded by the Lifelong Learning Programme. The courses are included in the Grundtvig/Comenius database http://ec.europa.eu/education/trainingdatabase (European Project Planning course code is IT-2012-716-003, European Project Management course code IT-2012-717-001) therefore those who wish to participate can obtain a training grant to cover both the course fee and accommodation and subsistence costs. Pixel promotes internationalization and European Cooperation in the fields of Education, Training and Culture.

Pixel was established in Florence (Italy) in January 1999 and has therefore 12 years of experience in the following areas:
• Organization of international education and training initiatives
• Organization of international events and conferences in the field of education and training
• Organization of international study visits, mobility and exchanges
• Direct submission as a promoter or coordinator of European projects

Pixel has 12 people working as full time staff, also over 100 external experts and trainers cooperate with Pixel. Pixel’s office is in Florence near the city centre. The office is 250 square metres. There are three classrooms and meeting s room. All of them are fully equipped with portable PCs, an interactive whiteboard, computer projector, whiteboard etc.
Pixel has significant experience in the field of European cooperation and transnational collaboration. Pixel has been / is currently involved in about 60 projects financed by the European Commission in the framework of the following programmes: Socrates ODL; Socrates Minerva; Socrates Grundtvig; Socrates Lingua; Socrates Comenius; Leonardo da Vinci; eLearning; Lifelong Learning – Comenius, Erasmus, Grundtvig, Leonardo. Pixel has coordinated / is coordinating over 40 training projects at regional level, funded by the European Social Fund.
The European projects related to this project subject area in which Pixel was and is involved focus on: promotion of the European Artistic Heritage ( for example, The Michelangelo Project, http://michelangelo.pixel-online.org/) , the sharing of artistic sources (for example the Art-Net Project http://www.elearning-art.net/), sustainable development (for example the Energetic project http://labo-energetic.eu/),

At European level, Pixel has developed cooperative agreements and partnerships with over 400 institutions. Pixel’s European partners are: ministries, universities, schools, regions, provinces, municipalities, training institutions, research centres, cultural institutions, schools, hospitals etc. in 30 different European countries. Pixel is also member of the following European networks: Tulip Network (Teaching and Learning International Project University Network) http://www.tulip-project.it/; EINET (European Network on Entrepreneurship) http://www.einet.org/; EMMA (European Network for Motivational Mathematics for Adults) http://www.statvoks.no/emma/. Pixel has also created partnership with the following networks: AEDE (Association Europèenne des Enseignants) www.aede-el.be; CIPAT (Network of Tuscan Secondary Schools) http://www.cipat.it/
Pixel is engaged in a constant improvement in the quality of the services performed. Pixel obtained quality certification according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000. Pixel is accredited as an in-service education and training organization by the Ministry of Education. Pixel is accredited as a training agency by the region of Tuscany.

Pixel has a more than 10 years of experience in the operational and financial management of European projects.

Pixel manage the European project activities according to the requirements of every specific project, involving the relevant organizations it is networked with both at national and transnational level. Pixel produce the expected project deliverables respecting the agreed deadlines in the project’s work plan. Pixel has developed a system for the constant management and monitoring of the expenditures related to every specific project. The system is developed to be fully consistent with the rules of the Guidelines for Administrative and Financial Management and Reporting produced every year by the EACEA and with the Grant Agreement.
