Video-making is a tool for NGOs to achieve their goals. In this project we invite youth workers interested in developing videos encouraging young people to be civically engaged, impact policies and participate in democratic life. In order to do so, we are going to research and discuss young people`s expectations and visions towards Europe and develop appropriate educational video materials to answer them.
Specific objectives:
• to understand in what Europe young people want to live,
• to find a space for civic engagement of young people and co-creating the future of Europe,
• to discuss the role of youth work as a bridge between young people and decision makers,
• to train youth workers to design and run engaging educational programs based on making movies,
• creating a documentary movie on the topic of the project.
It is the second part of the Training Cycle - please note that participation in the previous one is recommended!
The second training course will focus on different possibilities how young people can influence the decision-making process. Participants will learn how does European Youth Policy work, what is the idea of open method of coordination and how is the process of Youth Dialogue. During the second training we will learn how to edit movies, select and cut material, reduce disruptions, add narration and subtitles. Participants will learn how to work with FinalCut but also with very simple free software like Canva or basic movie maker.
It is important that participants are youth workers dealing with youth participation in democratic life!

There is no participation fee.
Project is financed under the „ERAMSUS+ Programme, Key Action 1. 100% of accommodation and activity costs are covered by the programme.
The international travel costs are covered according to the rules of ERASMUS+ Programme. Plan your travel to Berlin according to the limit in table on the left. That means that your travel costs will be fully reimbursed up to the limit. If you spend less for your travel you will get exactly the amount you spent. If you spend more, you will get the amount from the table in the infopack.

Portugal - 360 euro
Germany - 0 euro
