EU Values Conference

Conference – Symposium - Forum

19 May 2022 | online, Ireland

EU Values Event is a Europe-wide and cross-sectoral conference where we invite representatives from various sectors to learn, reflect on and discuss their role in promoting EU values in their work with young people and communities.

With lots of interesting speakers and digital interaction, this event will explore the importance of EU values in today’s Europe, and the role that different stakeholders across youth, education and training play in promoting them. Participants will learn about how Erasmus+ can fund projects that support these values of human dignity, freedom, democracy, equality, rule of law and human rights.

Aim: Increase awareness of EU values across sectors and access toErasmus+ funding for values-based projects

Objectives:

  • Understand the role that various youth and education stakeholders have in promoting EU values.
  • Understand how Erasmus+ can support projects in this area.
  • Provide pathways to further embedding EU values in youth and education
  • Connecting EU values and policy to the work of the youth and education sectors

Outcomes:

Participants will have a clearer knowledge and awareness about the importance of EU values in today’s Europe, how they are already promoting these values in their work, and how they can further embed them

Participants will understand how Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps can support their work in the area of EU values

Participants will reflect on and share their ideas for next steps in how they can better promote and embed EU values in their work
