BACKGROUND:
Team for Healthy Life has been the 1st ESC Team in High Priority Area managed by Associazione Joint:
We implemented 5 groups of short-term (1-2 months) Volunteering Teams coming to Italy across 2022-24, each of them hosted in a different location. We involved 72 volunteers, of which more than 50% with fewer opportunities. During the project we developed several good practices that we will present and that were collected in an Handbook that will be officially launched during the conference.
GOALS:
The event will give the opportunity to:
1- discover good practices
2- find out more about ESC Team in High Priority Area action
3- create new connections and potential cooperations among the participants.

Associazione Joint (Youth NGO)
Joint is one of the biggest and most innovative Youth Association in Italy. It is the Italian member of ICYE global network and the coordinator of an informal network recognized by European Union counting on 62 international partners. Joint focus on providing learning opportunities to young people through international experiences such as European Solidarity Corps, International volunteering, Work Camps, local and international Training Courses, Youth Exchanges and Capacity Building Projects focusing on advocacy, active participation, intercultural learning, social entrepreneurship and sustainable tourism, with the goal of involving highly vulnerable young people in mobility opportunities.
