ESC Partnership Building Activity

Partnership-building Activity

1-5 December 2023 | Near Milan, Italy

Meeting with other managers active in the field of ESC volunteering to create new partnerships and projects in the field of individual and team ESC mobilities. Create connections with Joint, other highly experienced organisations and The GloRe Network.

Meeting Objectives:

  • Get to know each other better and share good practices;
  • Networking in the field of ESC individual and team mobilities;
  • Introduce The GloRe Network and the certification platform and it manages.

Working Methods:

Non formal education methodologies will be used, with the facilitation of Joint Trainers:

  • Get to know each other and team building activities
  • Work in small groups (world cafè, open space etc)
  • Plenary sessions to share results and design common activities and plans.

Profile of participants: 

1 representative from each organisation, with a management role, involved in the field of volunteers’ management.

Preparation tasks:

  • 1 preparation call with all participants to present each other and our organisations
  • Participation in the Technical Training in which GloRe Network will be presented
  • 1 follow-up call with all participants after the meeting.

Nota bene: in these online calls must participate the ones who will join the in-person meeting.

Joint is one of the biggest and most innovative Youth Association in Italy in the field of youth empowerment and international mobility. It is the Italian member of ICYE global network and the coordinator of an informal network recognised by European Union counting on 62 international partners.
Joint main field of action is volunteering mobility, both as Lead and sending support organisation in the field of ESC.

Costs

Participation fee

No participation fee.

Accommodation and food

The PBA will take place at Ostello Parco Monte Barro in Galbiate. The venue is less 1 hour away from Milan and Bergamo. Food and accommodation in shared rooms will be 100% covered. The single room may be available against payment to cover the additional cost, to be agreed in advance. Participants will be expected to bring linen and towels. If not possible, they will be available for 6€ at the Ostello.

Travel reimbursement

Travel costs will be refunded on the basis of Erasmus+ distance calculator, with the possibility to cover Green Travels. We will reduce the maximum budget available for travel costs to cover pick-up costs from Galbiate station to Ostello. I.e. instead of 275€ of available budget you could have 250€, because the 25€ will be used for the pick-up. Considering the increase in air fares, tickets should be purchased as soon as possible. 

Participants are entitled to receive a Youthpass certificate from the organiser, for recognition of their competence development during the activity. Read more about Youthpass:
