Erasmus+ Sport Speed Dating: 1st Online Edition

E-learning

6 October 2026 | ONLINE, Romania

Romanian National Agency invites sport organisations new to the Erasmus+ Sport framework to join the 1st Online Edition of “Erasmus+ Sport Speed Dating”, a dedicated space to discover, connect, and start your Erasmus+ journey.

Open to Newcomers in Erasmus+ Sport

Why This Call Is for You

If your organisation has never applied for or participated in an Erasmus+ Sport project, this event is designed specifically with you in mind. Whether you are a newly established sports club, a school with a physical education programme, a grassroots NGO, or a community sport initiative, this is your entry point into a European network of cooperation, funding, and shared learning.
No prior Erasmus+ experience is required, only curiosity, motivation, and a willingness to connect.

What to Expect

1. Networking & Matchmaking Session

Meet potential partner organisations from across Europe in a structured, speed-dating format designed to spark real project ideas under collaborative partnerships, Erasmus+ funding strands specifically built to lower the entry barrier for first-time applicants.

2. Good Practice Showcase

Hear directly from experienced beneficiaries who will share the practical realities of running an E+ Sport project: what worked, what they learned, and how their outcomes made a lasting impact. A chance to learn from those who started exactly where you are now.

3. Live Q&A with National Agency Officers

Get your questions answered in real time by NA experts on funding priorities, inclusion in sport, sustainability, and — most importantly for newcomers — how to prepare and submit your first application.

Who Should Join

  • Newly formed or non-accredited sport organisations
  • Grassroots sports clubs
  • NGOs working in sport, health, or social inclusion
  • Any organisation curious about Erasmus+ Sport but unsure where to start

Why It Matters
This event is part of a broader effort to make European cooperation in sport accessible to all, contributing to the Union of Skills goal of fostering cooperation, skills development, and social inclusion, and supporting the Preparedness Union Strategy through resilience, health promotion, and active citizenship via physical activity.
