This online activity consists of six different workshops to celebrate Erasmus Days.

The aim of this activity is to promote European values, the benefits of mobility and participation in a European network and offer learning opportunities.

Objectives

  • To get knowledge about the European Training Strategy and the competence model for youth workers as a tool for reflection and growth (Topic 1 - Self-directed Learning),
  • To create awareness and space for reflection regarding the 21st century skills for personal, professional, social and sense of citizenship development (Topic 1 - Self-directed Learning),
  • To identify the challenges and opportunities in rural areas of Europe, the needs of young people and other broader needs of society that can motivate young people to take initiatives as active and European citizens (Topic 2 - Active citizenship civic engagement),
  • To provide tools and methodologies for developing sustainable youth projects (Topic 2 - Active citizenship civic engagement),
  • To explore the realities of being a trainer or youth worker and practical strategies to enhance mental and emotional well-being (Topic 3 - Mental Health of Youth Workers and Young People through Erasmus+ Projects),
  • To gain better understanding on how participation in E+ projects positively impacts the mental health and emotional wellbeing of young people with fewer opportunities (Topic 3 - Mental Health of Youth Workers and Young People through Erasmus+ Projects).

Target Group

Participants must:

  • Be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Be 18+ years old.
  • indicate in the application form which topic they are applying for

Format

This blended online learning course includes 6 ZOOM meetings on three different topics and HOP Online Learning Platform – self-paced modules. Each applicant must indicate in the application form, for which topic is interested in applying. Each workshop is designed for 30 participants.

1st Topic: Self-directed Learning

  • Workshop 1: [14/10/2025 09.30 - 11.00 CET] – Youth Workers’ Competence Model (Target Group: Yοuth Workers)
  • Workshop 2: [14/10/2025 12.00 - 13.30 CET] – Life Skills for the 21st century (Target Group: Young people between 15 and 30)

2nd Topic: Active citizenship civic engagement

  • Workshop 1: [15/10/2025 10:00 - 11:30 CET] – Active citizenship and civic engagement through Erasmus+ (Target Group: Youth workers and young people between 15 and 30)
  • Workshop 2: [15/10/2025 12.00 - 13.30 CET] – Active Citizen - European Citizen through Erasmus+ (Target Group: Youth workers and young people between 15 and 30)

3rd Topic: Mental Health of Youth Workers and Young People through Erasmus+ Projects

  • Workshop 1: [16/10/2025 09.30 - 11.00 CET] – Trainer Life and How to Hack it! (Target group: Youth Workers & Trainers)
  • Workshop 2: [16/10/2025 12.00 - 13.30 CET] – Promoting Youth Mental Wellbeing through Inclusive Mobility Projects (Target Group: Young people & Youth Workers)
