Entrepreneurial Ideas: Intergenerational Transfer of Traditional Productions

Training Course

11-19 October 2022 | Antakya (Hatay), Türkiye

This project plans to contribute to the sustainability of local cultures by workshops and entertaining activities and to encourage young people to engage in entrepreneurial activities in this field.

Our project entitled “Intergenerational Transfer of Traditional Productions” is a training course about finding new ways of entrepreneurship through introducing local cultural production methods in order to get over the difficulties of unemployment.

Increasing rates of youth unemployment

Due to the rapid increase in the world population and the limited economic, educational, and geographic opportunities of young people, youth unemployment is an important problem in many countries of the world. The unemployment of young people causes them to suffer both financially and psychologically.

Therefore,

  • more employment opportunities should be created for young people,
  • they should be encouraged in the field of entrepreneurship,
  • they should gain new skills and competencies in line with their needs

Lack of interest in local cultures

Youngsters do not know enough about their local culture and they are gradually distancing from these values. So, we are faced with the danger that these cultural values will disappear over time. For this reason, it is really important to protect local cultural values and transfer them to future generations.

Our project will help you to...

  • explore new ways of entrepreneurship
  • explore other cultures and their values
  • learn through intercultural communication
  • develop new entrepreneurial ideas
  • discover other ways of making your living rather than boring jobs
