Enhancing Diversity Management and Inclusion in Youth Work

Training Course

11-18 July 2022 | Dilijan, Armenia

The Course aims to support youth workers and trainers from the EU Neighboring partner countries in development of their diversity management skills and in learning how to implement culture of diversity in their working environments.

This is a Long-Term Training Course consists of 3 phases: 

  • Introductory Training Course in Armenia (11-18 July, 2022) 
  • Local Activities in the Participating Countries
  • Capacity Building and Evaluation Seminar in Germany (October 18-26, 2022)

Particicpation in all 3 stages of the project is mandatory. 

The Training Course has the following main objectives:

  • Empowering youth workers, trainers and educators to develop diversity orientation in their work with young people and build their competence in diversity management;
  • Supporting youth workers in incorporation of diversity into their working environment, thus, making their work more inclusive and effective;
  • Promoting diversity-oriented attitudes and awareness within the European programs in the fields of Education, Training and Youth;
  • Introducing key theoretical aspects, the glossary as well as the practical tools, methods and instruments to the youth workers who seek to implement the concept of diversity in their work;
  • Discussing how the European Youth Work can reinforce equality and ensure that diverse groups of people get equal treatment during trainings and other formal and non-formal educational settings.

Established in 2009, the Armenian Progressive Youth NGO -APY aims to promote active citizenship and active political and economic participation of young people in civic life. APY has implemented around 300 local, national and transnational projects involving 100.000 young people. The main experience of the organization lies within the areas of education for active citizenship, youth economic empowerment, active participation and civic education. APY is championing for the inclusion of NEET, marginalized youth and rural young people as well as strengthening educational and intercultural exchange between young people across Europe.

Participation in the Long-Term Training Course is free of charge.

Accommodation and food

Costs for accommodation and food are fully covered.

Travel reimbursement

100% of the total travel expenses will be reimbursed via bank transfer with a maximum limit according to the Erasmus+ distance band calculator as following:
