Training Course

13-21 October 2021 | Murzasichle, Poland

18 adults educators from Poland, Greece and Spain will learn about improvisation theatre methodology and activities and would develop their competences in using it for english teaching.

TC will take place in Murzsichle between 13th and 21st of October 2021 and will gather 18 educators from Poland, Greece and Spain who will learn about improvisation theatre methodology and activities and would develop their competences in using it for english teaching.

The aim of the Training course is developing set of competences for adults educators in field of using improvisaiton theatre methodology for English teaching.

The project is for youth workers and 'adults workers', the educators who are teaching adults. 

OBJECTIVES OF TRAINING COURSE

  • Increasing the competences of participants in using improvisation theatre as a educational method.
  • Increasing competences how to design, develop and implement the non-formal educational activities for English teaching based on improvisation theatre.
  • Learning about the improv theatre its pros and cons in usage for educational background
  • Learning from implementing the workshops developed by participants and learning from feedback and experience.
  • Developing intercultural learning competences in international environment
  • Developing the competences of adults educators and supporting their personal and professional development.
  • Developing the network between participants at personal and professional level
  • Giving participants opportunity to learn from each other, about different cultres, religious, traditions.

METHODOLOGY

The participants will learn during the training through non-formal methodology as experiential learning and theatre methodology. The activities would be based mainly on improvisation theatre methodology and non-formal approach for English teaching.

Follow up activities:

Organize 2 workshops in their local community with usage of improvisation theatre methods for English teaching for adults educators (each of them for 20 participants).

Write the article about the training and participants reflection in english and national language (one per country).

Promoting the project on the Social media (Facebook and Instagram)

Promoting the results of the project

Write personal diary about their learning journey.

Organisation is working at local level promoting the NFE in the local schools and implementing there workshops for youth development and discoveries their passions and talents. Through the workshops we are supporting thier development and undestanding thier strenghts.
We are using the theatrical methodology to work with youth to support them and give them space for development. We are mastering the improvisation theatre and britsh drama as a educational methodology for youth empowerment.
