“Methodology Development Seminar for using Education Through Sport in youth work” under the Erasmus+ programme
MDS for ETS aims at improving the quality and diversity of youth work and youth projects throughout Europe by elaborating the methodology of Education Through Sports (ETS). Objectives of the Seminar: -sharing experiences and practices in ETS; -identifying areas that need improvement or further development (eg. importance of debriefing, issues of self-evaluation); -experimenting and developing new methods of ETS; -recording and disseminating the new methods (e.g. exercises, activities, etc) developed. (http://www.moveandlearn.org) Profile of expected participants: We are looking for trainers, teachers, youth workers and sport coaches who -have a good understanding of Education Through Sport, -have extensive experience in non-formal education for and with young people either in sport for all or in youth work context, -have expereince in using sport as a tool for developing social skills of young people, -are ready and motivated to take part in the whole boarding educational activity, speak fluent English, Priority will be given to candidates who have already been involved in one of the European educational activities of the ETS community, be it the training of trainers in ETS or other training courses in relation to sport as a tool for social change in Europe.

The Hope for Children Hungary is a non-governmental organization with the aim to promote and protect children’s rights. The organization uses a holistic approach to solve the problems which Hungarian children facing: wide range of activities and services are offered.

The Hope for Children Hungary serves as an intermediary organization between the society (including several actors such as businesses, universities and other non-for-profit organizations) and the children, youngsters and families in need with the aim to facilitate and coordinate the flow of the donations (either money, services or other form of contributions) between them.

The organization offers legal and psychological aid, organizes educational activities with non-formal means (human rights education, intercultural education), runs awareness-raising campaigns as well as conducts interdisciplinary research.
